Pam Fredericksen
If you had the opportunity to listen to the interview I had with Susan Palmer a few weeks ago, you heard her mention Pam Fredericksen, the leader of the Cama Beach Quilters. The Cama Beach Quilters are the most lovely quilters with a mission to make quilts for the state park’s cabins, bringing back a little history to the park. The quilts are also for sale and the proceeds go to supplies and interpretative programs in the park. Pam is retired, but her volunteer activities keep her busier than when she was working.
Here’s the wall hanging Pam made of the Lower Falls of the Yellowstone

i went to school with Pam in Iowa. We reconnected when both our husbands went to Loma Linda, CA for cancer treatments. Over the past years we have traded visita. I am the Southern
California friend he sends the beautiful sunrise photos to.
She sent a “Hug Quilt” to my husband when he was in hospice.
She is an inspiration in all that she does and I am proud to call her a close friend.
