I just had to take a little quiz that I found on Facebook when I saw the question, “Ever wonder what type of quilter you are?” It was posted by Jen Lee of Red Thread Studio. It was a fun little quiz and had a nice report to help me. Brought back happy memories of being with my grandparents! The part about threading a needle was right on & made me laugh! I’ve always thought the open window quilt was intriguing too! First time I saw this show & I enjoyed it!
Nice interview Jen, enjoyed hearing about getting your love of quilting from your Grandmother. I bet she is proud of all you have accomplished and all the while doing something you love. We also enjoyed hearing how you love to fish. Pretty sure Greg fished with your Grampa a few times and they had a fish fry with with them!
Thank you for this podcast. Loved listening to Jen. I also love the peaceful task of hand binding. I know many do not like hand stitching but I also do cross stitch and embroidery so must be something in the hand work. Thank you Jen for sharing your life with us.
