Jean Pickering

Jean, little did I realize, when we roomed together our senior year at Wesleyan, that you would have such a diverse life! I loved listening to your story even though I knew most of it, but when it is altogether it becomes a life of adventure. Thank you for encouraging me to make my first quilt. I enjoyed every piece I sewed together and love seeing it on our bed every day.
I remember our flight from Oxford airport (or was it Johnnycake) out to Cape Cod for lunch. I did squeeze the arm rests a little hard.🙀. Come visit again!

Great interview! Jean was my flight instructor many years ago. I didn’t quilt at the time so missed out on also having her as a quilt friend!
